You are invited to join us for the third session of the Devotional Arts Program for the month of October.

In the coming months, our program will continue to offer separate ceremonial creation sessions for ritual garments, candle lanterns, divination tools, wordsmithing, traveling altars and more.

Each session is held for one month, yet members are welcome to spend as long as they like creating, as well as continuing to enjoy community within the member forum and join any further devotional sessions offered that feel right and needed.

Meet Your Facilitator:

As Spiritualist

Juliette is a west coaster with a life long affinity for the natural world and the mystical stories passed to her from the women in her family. At home in the intertidal zone of the shoreline or tucked up in the Selkie Sanctuary, she is dedicated to living a soul-filled life both personally and professionally.

As a young child she began experiencing visions and premonitions which woke her awareness to the realm of Spirit. Now she is a mother to beautiful children, a multi media artist, teacher, writer, and ceremonialist adept at weaving the sacred into daily life. Her formal call to sacred living and westernized 'shamanic' training was recognized after a combination of traditional factors, with the most symbolic element presenting as many venomous spider bites from three kinds of spider ~ Black Widow, Brown Recluse and Hobo. In one case, being covered from head to toe. After a decade of facilitating community ceremonies, year long immersion programs, spiritual practice workshops and offering private soul restoration sessions, her focus has shifted to the medicinal qualities of devotional arts and the support carefully made, intentional, tangible workings can bring.

As Creatrix

Juliette has become a weaver and hand spinner of fibre, is a sacred tool maker of medicine rattles, frame drums, talismans, medicine pouches, intentional non-permenant art and mandala-like natural offerings. A long time painter of images full of symbols with markings etched into the paint around whimsical animals, mushrooms, and landscapes, or as intricate colour-filled mandalas that hold specific medicinal intentions for the viewer’s well-being. She brings form to wildish spirit dolls made from natural and found materials as these Beings come forward with a supportive essence and purpose. Ceremonial ceramics to facilitate energetic tending and spiritual practice come through her hands with intentions pressed right into the clay as each piece is being formed. Her channeled art is created as a means of spiritual connection and healing for herself and her community.
